History of Company

In 1986 Arsan began as a yarn spinner, and since then has expanded its production line to be one of the largest finished knitted fabrics followed by woven fabrics and shirtings in Turkey. Arsan's consistency in producing high quality products has been rewarded by ISO 9000-2000 and OEKO-TEX 100 and FAIRTRADE (NO:19933) certificates. The uncompromized customer service philosophy has helped Arsan become a serious supplier to the world's most reputable companies from USA, UK, Italy, Germany, The Netherlands, France, Spain, Portugal, and Israel. Since 1998, Arsan Textile has been a public company. 15% of its shares are listed in Istanbul Stock Exchange.

Operations

SPINNING: Arsan Spinning Mills, built with Rieter Technology, produces 100 tons/Day Open-End, Carded ring and combed yarns of 100% Cotton, 100% Acrylic, cotton/acrylic, cotton/polyester, cotton/viscose, cotton/nylon blends and corespun, compact and regenerated fiber yarns.

KNITTING: With 120 circular knitting machines, Arsan manufactures trendy and sophisticated knitted fabrics in a wide range of colors and varieties. Modern integrated Arsan Knitting plant has a capacity of 40 tons/day and offers, greige, ready to dye, bleached, printed and dyed fabrics either tubular or open width

WEAVING: Arsan weaves piece and yarn dyed cotton and cotton-blend fabrics suitable for outerwear, casual fabrics and shirtings. The shirting division offers fabrics woven with yarn counts from 30/1 up to 100/1, 100/2 and 120/2. Multi dobby weaves, double beams and 8 colors in the weft are some of Arsan’s production features. Arsan has invested in the latest European corduroy fabrics technology and has installed a complete set of Sucker Müller machines from Germany. With 2 cutting, 1 wet brush and 1 dyed brush machine system Arsan is now able to dye & finish 25,000m daily corduroy. Corduroy fabrics vary from 8 to 22 wales and are suitable for both men’s and women’s shirting and casual outerwear fabric needs.
