Background

With Japanese technical assistance, the spinning mill was set up in 1990 using the most cutting edge technology from Japan & Europe. Having 83,000 spindles, Sulindamills produces a wide range of Ring Spun Yarns in different blends and complete count range of 10s – 50s Ne in single and 2-plies.

The automatic production machinery and equipments are supported by a fully equipped laboratory. To ensure that international knitting and weaving industry standards are met, all yarns are spliced and electronically cleared in the fully air-conditioned plant. The quality of Sulindamills’ yarns has been rated as one of the best available in the market, with a large portion of the production being exported to Asia, Europe, North and South America.

As testament to the high standards continually set, Sulindamills was awarded the prestigious ISO 9001 certification in 1998 and its quality management system was upgraded to ISO 9001:2000 in 2002. In addition, its products have been tested and certified in accordance with Oeko-Tex Standard 100 and have been proven to meet the human ecological and azo-dye requirements.
