Corporate History

PT. Tyfountex Indonesia was established on 16th August 1973 as a Joint Venture Foreign Capital Investment Enterprise to operate as a fully integrated Textile Mill. Tyfountex operates on four integrated production facilities which include spinning, weaving, dyeing and finishing, Home Textiles and Apparel. Our best known brands, Red Rose and Golden Bull are widely recognized for unsurpassed quality all over the world. Completely self-sufficient, Tyfountex is equipped with a modern power plant, water supply, and a waste water treatment facility.
The factory lies on the outskirts of Solo ( Surakarta ), a city of over one million people, in the heart of Central Java.

Spinning Division

This division, the oldest among four divisions, was established in 1975. Our ring spinning and open end machines can produce yarn products up to 10,000 bales per month. Our products range from 1 to over 80 English counts. They are composed of single, ply, slub and stretch yarn in cotton, polyester, nylon rayon, polynosic, tencel and ramie/linen. Our reliability and competitive pricing have earned for Tyfountex a well-recognized name and reputation in the textile industry.

Weaving Division

The Weaving Division started operating in 1976. After many years of reliable mill operation, Tyfountex denim became the acknowledged leader in the denim market. The divisions advanced in innovative design, superior construction and consistent high quality meet the demands of the denim industry. Tyfountex's monthly production capacity is 3 million yards of finished denim and grey fabrics. Tyfountex is also well known for its stretch fabrics, corduroy and other fancy weaves. Our latest specialty products are Bi-stretch fabric, bedford cords, stretch corduroy, polynosic/tencel, and microfibre fabrics.

Dyeing & Finishing Division

In full operation since 1980, the division boasts of 2 lines of continuous dyeing with a production of over 2,500,000 yards per month. This division is fully integrated with our sewing and garment department for producing both garments and household textiles. Tyfountex can handle special finishes such as wrinkle free, peach-skin (emerized), calendered, chintz, water-repellant, down-proof, fire-retardant, etc.

Apparel and Garment Division

In 1986, equipped with a few hundred sewing machines, Tyfountex extended its lines of fabric products and established the Apparel and Garment Division. Our lines are capable of a monthly production of 220,000 pieces of jeans and 200,000 pieces of home linen. The sewing division places special emphasis on the production of household textile such as bed linens and tablecloth. the Garment division specialises in the production of denim jackets, jeans, skirts, shorts and overall, as well as a variety of institutional uniform (workwear). A laundry has been set up to complement the production of the denim products.

Distribution

To serve our customers more efficiently, PT. Tyfountex maintains an international network of sales and representative offices. These are strategically located throughout North and South America, Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and Australia. Our production are marketed in a network of prestigious and professional distributors all over the world and within Indonesia.
