Company History

Thai Alliance Textile Co., Ltd., was founded in 1980 to acquire the assets of a 20,000-spindle operation. They are one of the largest and most recognized yarn spinners in Thailand. With intense focus on meeting market requirements, they have over the years become the most innovative yarn spinner not just in Thailand, but also in Southeast Asia. Today they have 100,000 spindles and 600 open-end rotors. They continue to consistently develop and improve on new yarn products as well as our technology, quality and, most importantly, the skills and welfare of their fellow employees.

They put great emphasis on our customer and market orientation. Though they are in the upstream process of yarn manufacturing, they often work closely with apparel brands to deliver the finished apparel they need by working directly with them while, at the same time, with their direct fabric manufacturing customers. Total customer satisfaction has always been their traditional goal and hallmark.

For equipment, we use some of the most advanced machinery in the industry, designed and manufactured in Switzerland, Germany, and Japan. To date, our testing and process capabilities are considered one of the strongest in Southeast Asia, employing centralized information-gathering systems to monitor our products in real-time.

Apparel Brands

The concept of a spinner working directly with an apparel brand may seem like an unusual one. But through our experience, we and our direct customers have found it an effective way to design and develop fabric. For instance, we can show an apparel brand customer a computer simulated copy of a finished slub yarn fabric before it is even produced as yarn. Such capabilities allow greater time efficiency and the quick delivery of products that you need.

Each and every one of our downstream partners, from knitters and weavers to apparel brands, have their own specific requirements and needs. As stated in our Mission Statement, we take it upon ourselves to anticipate, and to fully meet such requirements and needs at all times. Your total satisfaction is our goal.

Product can be categorized into four groups

100% Combed Cotton Yarn

As a major producer of combed cotton yarn in Thailand, our offerings typically range in counts from Ne 10 to Ne 60. Special requests for Ne 80 to Ne 120 can be accommodated.

As one of the first spinners of organic cotton in Asia, we were a founding member of the Organic Exchange (www.organicexchange.org) and have continued to be a leader in the production of organic cotton products. Organic cotton is grown and processed without the use of harmful chemicals. We were the first in our region to be officially certified for spinning organic cotton yarn. We spin 100% organic cotton as well as blends with conventional cotton depending on customers' needs.

Open-End Yarn

Our open-end yarns are made from 100% cotton by one of the latest and most technologically advanced machinery line in Thailand.

Our count range for open-end yarns is from Ne 5.5 to Ne 20.

Polyester/Cotton Blends

We offer a wide range of polyester/cotton blends for those who require their durability, easy care, and wrinkle-resistant characteristics. Our offerings range from Ne 10 to Ne 45, and we can customize polyester-to-cotton content to suit your needs

We set high standards for our polyester/cotton blends. For polyester fiber, we source from the most-recognized producer in Thailand. We spare no expense on our cotton side either, using the same high-quality cotton as ones we use for 100% combed cotton.

Performance Yarns

We take pride in being the most innovative spinner in Southeast Asia and have been recognized as such. Among others, we were designated as the development partner of Invista’s perspiration-wicking CoolMax, their stretch Lycra and Dow Chemical’s stretch product, the XLA.

Our performance products range from certified organic cotton to recycled polyester and blends. They also extend from stretch yarn to hard core spun yarn. We produce 100% Tencel yarn and other special fibers as well as blends with cotton or other materials such as linen. We are also a major supplier of slub and multi-count yarn using different materials as requested. In addition, we have the largest capacity for Com4 and Com4 Twin products in Thailand, and there are many more.
